Villa Moncigale is associated with the Coteaux d’Aix-en-Provence, an appellation shaped by warm days, cooling influences and varied Mediterranean landscapes. The domaine’s wines reflect the region’s emphasis on freshness, texture and food-friendly balance, combining generous southern fruit with a poised, contemporary style. Cicada La Légende presents this Provençal identity in an accessible form, with character that remains inviting rather than overly weighty.

In the glass, it shows a clear, attractive colour and a bright, fragrant expression. The nose suggests ripe orchard and stone fruit, complemented by delicate floral notes, fresh citrus and subtle Mediterranean nuances. On the palate, the wine is smooth and rounded, with a refreshing line of acidity that keeps the fruit lively and the finish clean. Its moderate body, balanced structure and restrained savoury touch give it both immediate charm and enough substance to accompany food.

Serve Villa Moncigale Cicada La Légende chilled at 10-12°C (50-54°F). It pairs beautifully with Provençal salads, grilled fish, shellfish, roasted vegetables, fresh goat cheese and lightly seasoned poultry. Enjoy it as an aperitif, at a leisurely summer lunch or alongside an informal dinner when a crisp, sunny and versatile southern French wine is called for.
